jaime, Summer has officially arrived in the Crothers' office, and with it comes a different kind of energy. I’ve been spending more time in the office lately, reconnecting with the team in person, while also adjusting to having my son home from school and starting his internship.
It has been a good reminder that growth happens when people feel both supported and trusted to step into something new. Whether it is a young professional beginning an internship, a team member raising their hand with an idea, or a leader creating space for honest conversation, people do their best work when they feel safe enough to learn, contribute, ask questions, and even make mistakes along the way.
That is the heart of psychological safety. It is not about making work easy or avoiding accountability. It is about creating a culture where trust, clarity, and open communication help people stretch, grow, and perform together.
